How Did You End Up With a Wet Basement?

A lot of what we do is seal foundation cracks within the walls of your basement. Our area has primarily poured concrete foundations and with moisture and shifting soil, cracks can happen. Cracks are pretty easy to see in an unfinished basement. For a finished basement, we look for where the water source comes from and check the exterior for cracks. Most cracks in the basement walls run North to South and there can also be cracks found where the floor and the wall meet. There can even be cracks found around any poorly installed egress windows. We identify the cracks and seal them tight using an epoxy/urethane injection.

Exterior Waterproofing Membranes

Sometimes the best way to attack a seepage problem is from the outside. This process will mean some excavation around the foundation in order to gain access to the foundation wall. Depending on the situation, we can add a new level of drainage while we’re digging down there. We then place a membrane or coating to the exterior of the foundation wall to seal and essentially waterproof the exterior of your foundation.

Every situation is different, and no two homes are alike in needed treatment. Give us a call and let’s do a thorough check for any issues. Concrete Correctors Inc. will take care of you like one of the family.
